The 2007 Kenosha Days of Discovery is made possible through collaborative efforts between the City of Kenosha and two local, not-for-profit organizations:

The Kenosha Days of Discovery Foundation The Kenosha Days of Discovery Foundation was established in 2002. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to developing resources to provide Kenosha's youth with sail-training opportunities leading to increased nautical and scientific knowledge, increased self-esteem, development of teamwork and leadership skills, and greater intercultural understanding.

The Kiwanis Club of Western Kenosha also dedicates its fund raising efforts to provide a better quality of life for our area’s youth, elderly and disadvantage through programs such as Terrific Kids, Babe Ruth Baseball Program, and the Shalom Center.

The U.S. Cellular Kenosha Days of Discovery is proud to have the support of the Kenosha Yacht Club. The KYC plays an essential role in providing port services to the ships and crew, as well as volunteer staff to assist visitors boarding the ships throughout the festival. The 2007 Days of Discovery organization thanks the Kenosha Yacht Club for their continued dedication, which makes this event possible. www.kenoshayachtclub.com
